THE CONTEXT
The Context is the show with more time to explore ideas and interview people in the wider educational world. They might be experts, practitioners, creatives, other teachers or industry professionals, but will all have something interesting to say. Listening to someone who is passionate about their field can spark off great ideas for teaching and learning, and ‘The Context’ is where we hope to make that happen.
CHALK
These shows will appear when there is one ready to go. Episodes cover the wider world of Stuart and Adrian, our passions, enthusiasms and experience, plus interviews, analysis, discussions and a chance to reflect and explore the world of the creative arts. It’s possible you could feature a Chalk show, as we want to visit centres, see ideas in action and make that part of our output.
BRIEFINGS
Briefings are four to seven minutes long, each on a particular topic. This might be technical advice, software tips, updates on government policy or practical ideas to help in your work. Some will focus on teaching and learning strategies, classroom, studio and workshop practice, improving lessons to meet national standards, assignment writing and best practice. Each briefing is a self-contained episode but builds into suites linked by themes or topics for your Continuous Professional Development, information or research.
AND IN THE FUTURE?
We have big plans for the future, including more video and audio material and podcasts, publishing e-books, mini-conferences and seminars live and online, and visiting schools, colleges and teacher training centres.
